NNBC

Northern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition

The Northern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition (NNBC) is a volunteer organization of parents, professionals, and community partners in Northern Nevada who believe that breastfeeding is foundational to a healthy start in life and provides unlimited benefits to mother and child. Our mission is to promote breastfeeding through education, collaboration, and advocacy to remove barriers and to help all families achieve their breastfeeding goals.

 

Meetings

The NNBC meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 12:00 noon at the Children’s Cabinet located at 1090 South Rock Boulevard, Reno. If you’re unable to attend in person you can join the meeting from your computer, tablet or smartphone at: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/430355533

SNBC

Southern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition

The mission of the Southern Nevada Breastfeeding Coalition (SNBC) is to inspire, educate and build community support to make breastfeeding the norm for infant feeding in Nevada.

Meetings

SNBC meetings are once a month, on the third Wednesday of each month at 12-1pm PST at the Healthy Living Institute.

KIJIJI Sisterhood

Women of color have created successful communities all throughout history.  We have fed and nurtured nations survived adversity, built economies, and continue to effect meaningful change. The Kijiji Sisterhood provides relevant and appropriate care and support for communities of color. We focus on bringing Black and Brown families together to support each other in our collective growth and advancement.
